The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has announced a big recruitment in Bihar. This time, there are a total of 4128 Constable posts in different departments. If you have passed 12th class (Intermediate), you can apply for this job.

There are three types of constable posts in this recruitment.

• Prohibition Constable - 1603 posts
• Jail Warder - 2417 posts
• Mobile Squad Constable - 108 posts

Education Qualification

You must have passed 10 plus 2 (Intermediate) from any recognized board in India.

Application Fees

General, OBC, EWS, and other state candidates have to pay 100 rupees.

SC, ST, and female candidates from Bihar also have to pay 100 rupees.

You can pay the fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or by challan.

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2025)

• For General Male candidates, the age limit is 18 to 25 years.
• For OBC or EBC Male candidates, the age limit is 18 to 27 years.
• For OBC or EBC Female candidates, the age limit is 18 to 28 years.
• For SC and ST candidates (male and female), the age limit is 18 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is given as per government rules.

Salary

The monthly salary will be between 21700 and 69100 rupees, depending on the post.

You will also get other government benefits like DA, HRA, and TA.

Physical Requirements

You must be physically fit for this job.

• For Male (General, OBC, and EBC) candidates, height should be 165 cm and chest should be between 81 to 86 cm.
• For Female (General, OBC, and EBC) candidates, height should be 160 cm.
• For SC and ST candidates, height should be 155 cm for female and chest 79 to 84 cm for male.

Exam Pattern

• The written exam will have multiple choice questions.
• Subjects will include Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
• There will be 100 questions for 100 marks.
• The exam will be of 2 hours duration.

After the written exam, there will be a physical test, document verification, and then the final merit list.
